Grant Recipients

Since the launch of the IBC Foundation on October 6, 2011, the IBC Foundation has partnered and supported:

  • 39 community health center clinics, awarding them $4.6 million in Blue Safety Net grants to expand and improve access and quality health care in underserved communities;
  • 34 nursing programs, awarding them $2 million in scholarships, as an investment in the education and development of Nurses for Tomorrow;
  • 14 local organizations awarding them with $647,500 in Building Healthy Communities grants that provide health and wellness programs outside the scope of clinical practice;
  • 3 major partners in a $1.8 million initiative over 3 years — Healthy Futures — addressing the obesity epidemic and improving childhood wellness.
