Nursing Continuing Education

Supporting the development of well-rounded nursing professionals

In response to feedback from the nursing community, the IBC Foundation created a continuing education workshop: Inside Managed Health Care Plans focused on the business of health care and insurance practices. This free, instructional program provided the opportunity for nursing educators, practice nurses, and administrators to explore health care through a different lens, while promoting dialogue and collaboration across the field.

Licensed nurses were able to earn up to 5.5. Continuing Education credits for participation.

The IBC Foundation plans to offer similar workshops in the future.
