Who We Are

In October 2011, Independence Blue Cross (IBC) launched a charitable, private foundation — the Independence Blue Cross Foundation — with a mission to transform health care through innovation in the communities it serves.

The IBC Foundation complements and expands upon IBC’s 73-year commitment to improving the health and wellness of our neighbors in southeastern Pennsylvania.

What we fund

The IBC Foundation funds programs and initiatives that advance caring for our region’s most vulnerable, enhance health care delivery, and build healthy communities.
